Chesapeake, Va. (WTKR) - Chesapeake Police are investigating a triple shooting that happened early Monday morning.
According to police, they responded to VA Live Entertainment Complex on South Military Highway around 1:45 am for a shots fired call.
When officers arrived, they found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds in the area.
All the victims were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with what police describe as non-life threatening injuries.
So far, police will only confirm that the suspect or suspects left in a car, but have not released any description of the suspect(s) nor the vehicle.
NewsChannel 3's Todd Corillo spoke with a witness to the shooting who asked not to be identified. He said he was walking to a nearby McDonald's when the shooting occurred, he says after a fight broke out in the parking lot.
"All I saw was like 25 people out here and then I saw an altercation with probably one or two girls and then a guy and then I saw, well I didn't see it, but I just heard it. Gunshots."
