Norfolk, Va.- Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened on Robin Road and Tillman Road.
Police received multiple calls around 8:30 p.m. about gunshots heard in the area. Once police and fire units arrived, they found a woman lying on the ground with gunshots wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
She has been identified as 25-year-old Jamesha Roberts.
One day after Roberts' body was found, her family and friends returned to the scene of her death to hold a candle light vigil.
They describe Roberts as a hard worker, who gave great hugs and loved her children. She leaves behind two children.
