Norfolk, Va.- Police have identified the victim in a homicide that took place Christmas Eve in the 1200 block of W. Ocean View Ave.
Police received a call at 5:46 p.m. Thursday evening reporting a possible gunshot victim.
Once on scene they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound inside the home.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as 35-year-old Randy Earl James.
