Norfolk, Va. – Norfolk Police are investigating a car crash that sent three people, including an officer, to the hospital.
According to police, the officer was driving with his lights and sirens activated in the 6900 block of Tidewater Drive around 1:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
The officer attempted to cross Thole Street when another vehicle pulled in front of his police car.
The officer and two adults from the other vehicle were transported to the hospital, with non-life threatening injuries.
Charges have not been filed against the other driver at this time.
