Onley, Va. – The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide that took place Saturday, December 26th.
The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office and Onley Police responded to a home on Maple Street around 8:30 p.m. that evening.
Officers and deputies found 52-year-old Xiaoliang Wang deceased inside the home and 45-year-old Hongmei Tan suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Tan was transported to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Authorites believe the incident was the result of a murder-suicide, but they are still investigating. Autopsy results are pending.
