More than 100 military men and women left Hampton Roads today as the USNS Spearhead departed from Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story.
"We`ll basically be building off previous years work. Executing a wide array of theater security cooperation events with a focus in maritime law enforcement to increase host nations capability. And to increase inner operability throughout the region," said CMDR. Tim Ferracci.
The ship just returned from a previous deployment back in October, but is now headed to support Africa Partnership Station alongside Euro-Atlantic and Africa partners.
