Portsmouth, Va. – A 40-year-old Portsmouth man is facing several charges in relation to a sexual assault allegation made by a child under 15.

Jason N. Ellis has been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery, four counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor, and two counts of indecent liberties with a minor by custodian.
The charges stem from incidents that happened between Ellis and the child in 2014 and 2015.
Ellis was arrested on November 19th, 2015.
