Hampton, Va. – Three people were injured in a shooting Sunday night in Hampton.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. the 2100 block of Kecoughtan Rd at the Colonial Landing apartment complex.
When officers got to the scene, police say they found two men and a woman with gunshot wounds. All three were taken to the hospital.
“I was sitting watching TV and all I heard was gunfire flying by underneath my window,” says George Skinner, a resident at the apartment complex. “I ducked and hit the floor. It’s getting ridiculous out here, there’s too much gunfire out here.”
Police initially said one of the victims had life-threatening injuries, but that person’s injuries have now been upgraded to non life-threatening.
It is still unclear if the victims live at the apartments.
Police do not have any suspects at this time.
“We do want anyone who saw anything, heard anything, to please give us a call,” says SPO Ashley Jenrette with Hampton Police.
