Red Cross in need of blood and platelet donors

The Red Cross says it has an urgent need for blood and platelet donors.

Hectic holiday schedules may have contributed to fewer blood drives and donations over the previous

Donations are needed now to help prevent a shortage.

There will be several blood drives happening throughout Hampton Roads this month.
