Dominic’s VIPIR Forecast: Slick spots possible on roads tonight as much colder air moves in

Posted

Much colder temps move in….As we move through our Sunday night, any leftover snow or slush on the ground will likely freeze, which will create slick spots on some roads, bridges and overpasses, so keep that in mind. Otherwise, expect partly cloudy skies and cold conditions. Overnight low temperatures in the mid and upper 20s.

We’ll see a bit more sun Monday and Tuesday, but don’t expect a warm up. High temperatures will only rise into the mid 30s! Wind chill values by Tuesday morning will be in the single digits!  High temperatures will climb back into the 40s by Wednesday and Thursday. Then, by next weekend, stay alert.  Another area of low pressure could bring us a chance of rain and snow, especially late next Friday into Saturday. We’ll continue to track it for you through the week!

Tonight: Partly Cloudy. Cold and Breezy. Low temperatures in the mid and upper 20s. Winds: W 10-15 mph.

Monday: Sun and Clouds. Cold and Breezy. High temperatures in the mid 30s. Winds: NW 10-20 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly Sunny and Cold. High temperatures in the lower 30s. Winds: W 10-20 mph.
