Police searching for man who robbed Norfolk bank

Norfolk, Va. – Police are searching for the man who robbed the Chartway Federal Credit Union inside the Farm Fresh at 730 West 21st Street Friday afternoon.

The man, bundled in winter clothing, entered the Farm at 3:30 p.m.

He demanded money from the credit union clerk, then ran away after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

The man is described as a middle-aged black male with a dark beard. Police believe he is approximately 6’0” in height with a slender build. He was last seen wearing a tan beanie hat, navy blue hooded jacket, dark-colored pants and dark-colored gloves.
