Williamsburg, Va. – A man is dead after accidentally shooting himself at the Astronomical Pancake House in Williamsburg.
The 22-year-old man was found unresponsive on Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the restaurant in the 1300 block of Richmond Road.
He died on the way to the hospital.
Police say he may have been inexperienced with a gun and accidentally shot himself. They are waiting on the medical examiner to confirm.
Another employee was at the Astronomical Pancake House at the time of the shooting.
Police are not releasing the man’s name at this time.
