Hampton Good Samaritan robbed, beaten by driver he was trying to help

Hampton, Va. – A Good Samaritan was beaten and robbed after trying to help a man who he thought was having car trouble.

Officers were flagged down at Fort Monroe on Sunday after receiving word about a robbery in the area of Beall Drive and Tyndall Circle.

The suspect pulled out a gun, beat the victim and took his money.

The suspect drove away on a motorcycle and was last seen traveling down Beall Drive towards Seward Drive.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6’0, approximately 180 pounds, 20-30 years old, small to medium build and no facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored winter coat, jeans and a stocking cap.

There was also a female with the suspect. She is described as having a thin build, 5’5 tall and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a dark-colored winter coat with a half-helmet on her head.
