Posted
and last updated

Tracking rain and warmer temps….Have your rain gear handy. Scattered showers are in your forecast today, courtesy of an area of low pressure that will track off the North Carolina coast. A few rain showers are possible in the morning, and with cold air in place, a couple of snowflakes could mix in with the rain, but we're not expecting a big event. By afternoon, scattered rain will be around. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the mid 40s.

Tonight, the rain will push out late, giving way to partly cloudy skies and low temperatures in the lower 30s.

Skies will clear as we go through Friday. Highs will be in the upper 40s. Then, this weekend, we're expecting plenty of sunshine. High temperatures will climb into the 50s and 60s! More rain arrives by the middle of next week.

Today: Mostly Cloudy. Scattered Showers (50%). High temperatures in the mid 40s. Winds: N 5-10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy. Chance of Showers (40%). Cold. Low temperatures in the lower 30s. Winds: W 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow: Sun and Clouds. Chilly and Breezy. High temperatures in the upper 40s. Winds: NW 10-20 mph.
