PETA offering spay, neuter discounts in February, March

Posted

Norfolk, Va. – PETA is offering discounts on spaying and neutering pets in February and March.

February 23 is the organization’s official Spay Day, but pet owners will be able to get their dogs and cats “fixed” at PETA’s mobile veterinarian clinics every day in February and March.

Owners will be able to pay $15 to spay or neuter cats, in honor of the 15th anniversary of PETA’s mobile clinic program. In honor of PETA’s 35th anniversary, it will cost $35 to spay or neuter dogs.

“There’s no better way to celebrate PETA’s milestones than by helping our community combat the homeless-animal overpopulation crisis through prevention,” says PETA Senior Vice President Daphna Nachminovitch. “Spay Day is the perfect time to take action to prevent more puppies and kittens from being born into a world with no room for them.”
