Tuesday’s First Warning Forecast: Rain and storms

Rain and storms… Heavy rain and a chance for strong to severe storms today. Expect most of the rain and storms during the mid-morning to midday hours as a cold front moves in. Rain will taper off this afternoon and skies will begin to clear late this afternoon to early evening. It will be warm but very windy today. Highs will reach near 60 this afternoon with winds from the SE to SW at 15 to 25 mph. Higher gusts are possible within storms.

Latest closings and delays

A small and quick moving area of low pressure will move through on Wednesday, bringing us a few extra clouds and an isolated shower. Highs will slip back to near 50 tomorrow and into the 40s for Thursday. Expect plenty of sunshine for the end of the workweek.

Tonight: Partly Cloudy. Lows in the upper 30s. Winds: W/N 5-10
