Norfolk off-duty police officer accused of exposing himself in Portsmouth Walmart

Portsmouth, Va. – A Norfolk police officer is under investigation after allegations that he exposed himself to a woman inside of a Walmart.

Officials say on February 15 just before 1:55 p.m., police received a call about an incident at the Walmart at 1098 Frederick Boulevard.

Once on the scene, officers spoke to the victim who said someone exposed himself to her. Officers located a man that fit a description given by the victim. That man was an off duty Norfolk police officer.

The officer has not been charged but was placed on administrative duty pending the outcome of an investigation.

Police are not releasing the name of the suspect at this time.

The Norfolk Police Department’s Office of Professional Standards has contacted everyone involved in the case and is now conducting an investigation.
