First Warning Storm Team: Tracking warmer temps for the weekend

Posted

Warmer temps for the weekend….As we move through this weekend, get ready for some warmer weather. Highs on this Saturday will be in the mid 60s under a mix of sun and clouds. It will be breezy from time to time, with winds from the southwest between 10 and 20 mph. Tonight, it won’t be quite as cold, with overnight low temperatures in the mid and upper 40s.  On Sunday, it will be another mild one, with high temperatures in the mid and upper 60s. A couple of spots could even see highs near 70.  We’ll likely start the day with a bit of sun, but by afternoon, clouds will increase and thicken, ahead of our next weather maker.

A front will move into the area from the west-northwest and stall, allowing waves of rain to move in. A few of us could see some showers Sunday evening. But rain chances will be going up for all of us late Monday into Tuesday and Wednesday. Some rain could even stick around for Thursday.  And with all the clouds and rain around, high temperatures will fall back into the 40s and 50s next week.

Today: Sun and Clouds. Warmer. Breezy at times. High temperatures in the mid 60s. Winds: SW 10-20 mph.

Tonight: Partly Cloudy and Cool. Low temperatures in the mid and upper 40s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow: Increasing Clouds. Few Showers Possible (20-30%). A Little Warmer. High temperatures in the mid 60s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.
