Chesapeake, Va. – Police responded to a car crash Saturday night on the off-ramp from Bainbridge Boulevard to South Military Highway.
According to a spokesperson for the Chesapeake Police Department, officers received the call around 10:50 p.m. for a vehicle crash.
When officers arrived on the scene they found the car empty.
Police say the driver fled the scene because he had been drinking.
Officers were able to catch the driver and arrest him.
Police have not released any information on charges or the driver.
