Norfolk, Va. – A woman was injured Monday when a vehicle jumped a curb and struck the Soaps N’ Suds laundry center at 6138 Chesapeake Boulevard.
Norfolk Police say they received the call at Noon on Monday.
Several people were inside the business when the vehicle hit the building. According to police, the vehicle was driven by an elderly man whose foot slipped off the brake.
One woman inside the laundromat sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
A front glass window at the laundromat was broken.
No charges were filed.
