All week long, NewsChannel 3 is featuring some of the best restaurants in Virginia Beach that are taking part in Virginia Beach Restaurant Week.
Esoteric opened its doors in late 2015 in a 1940’s era building in the Arts and Culture District of the city.
The restaurant features simple decor, an eclectic menu and quite a large craft beer selection.
“We probably have the largest beer selection at the oceanfront in Virginia Beach. Some really hard to find stuff and then some stuff that’s really good and we’ve taken a lot of time in that. So you can enjoy a great beer with some amazing food and just come have a good time,” says chef Ian Hock. “I think it will show that Virginia Beach is kind of coming around finally and bringing a different kind of aspect to the dining scene.”
Esoteric is located at 501 Virginia Beach Boulevard, at the corner of Baltic Avenue. They’re open for dinner Monday – Saturday, opening at 4:00 p.m.
