Portsmouth, Va. - Former City Manager John Rowe will run for mayor, according to City Councilman Bill Moody.
Rowe will make the formal announcement on Thursday at 5:30 pm at Mario's Italian Restaurant, Moody told NewsChannel 3.
City council members ousted Rowe last spring, which brought high drama.
Rowe will have competition. The City's Mayor Kenny Wright announced his re-election bid in February.
