Tyrell Slaughter was charged with Burglary and Grand Larceny in Virginia Beach.
Virginia Beach, Va. - A construction crew helped apprehend a burglary suspect Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the 3800 block of Chimney Creek Drive around 9:40 a.m. on a report of a burglary of a home that was under reconstruction.
According to police, the construction crew located a man inside the home. The workers chased the man, caught him and held him for police.
The man was identified as 18-year-old Tyrell Thorone Slaughter of Virginia Beach.
Slaughter has been charged with Burglary and Grand Larceny.
He is being held in the Virginia Beach Correctional Center without bond.
