Chesapeake, Va. – Chesapeake Police chased a motorcyclist into Portsmouth during a brief pursuit Sunday night.
An officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the motorcycle for defective equipment on George Washington Highway near Military Highway.
The driver of the motorcycle refused to stop and officers pursued him into Portsmouth.
The officers lost sight of the motorcycle on High Street and terminated the pursuit after approximately six minutes.
No property was damaged and no one was injured.
There is no suspect information.
