Norfolk, Va. – One person was hurt in an accident Friday morning at Norfolk International Terminals.
Norfolk Fire-Rescue crews were called to the scene around 11:05 a.m.
When they arrived, they found a worker had fallen 20-25 feet from a crane onto the top of a cargo container.
Crews assessed the worker and then set up a rope system to remove him from the top of the container, about 15 feet above the ground.
The worker was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment.
