Newport News, Va. – Police are investigating a report of a bank robbery Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to the BayPort Credit Union at 12512 Warwick Blvd. just after 11 a.m.
Police say a man approached the teller and said he had a gun, but never displayed a weapon.
The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle, taking no money with him.
He was described as a white male wearing a grey sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown baseball hat with white on the back.
