Norfolk, Va. – A passenger plane made an emergency landing at Norfolk International Airport Tuesday afternoon.
The pilot reported smoke in the cockpit at 1:30 p.m. and the plane landed in Norfolk at 1:34 p.m.
The plane was an American Airlines regional jet, flight number 3749, with 26 passengers and crew members on board.
The plane was headed from New York’s LaGuardia Airport to Norfolk.
No injuries were reported and all passengers and crew safely deplaned.
Airport fire crews checked out the plane and didn’t find any signs of fire.
