Man arrested in connection to shooting outside of Roger Brown’s restaurant

Portsmouth, Va. – A man is now in custody after being charged for a murder that occurred outside of Roger Brown’s restaurant in Portsmouth  last year.

Police have arrested 43-year-old Kennyon Harris, who also goes by the name “Fee-Fee.”

US Marshals took him into custody at the Norfolk International Airport.

Portsmouth police were called out to the scene on Thanksgiving morning on November 26th, 2015.

When they arrived, they found a man who was suffering from gunshot wounds outside of the establishment.

He was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead.

Another man was also shot. He suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Harris was identified as a suspect on December 18th.

He was charged with first-degree murder, malicious wounding, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Authorities caught Harris who was on a plane headed to Norfolk from Charlotte.

He was taken into custody without incident.

He will be held at the Portsmouth City Jail.
