Virginia Beach gas prices are on the rise

Virginia Beach, Va. – According to gasnews, gasoline prices in Virginia Beach have risen 17.3 cents per gallon in the past week.

Gas prices are averaging in at $1.73 within the city, compared to the national average at $1.93 per gallon.

According to petroleum analyst Patrick DeHaan, the cheapest gas prices of the year are now solidly behind us, as the national average will soon hit $2.

He also says that we can expect the rally in gas prices to run for another month or two before stalling out.

The best news out of all of this he says, is that motorists could still see the cheapest average summer gasoline prices in over a decade.
