First Warning Forecast: Much cooler weather is on the way

Much cooler weather is on the way….Buckle up! We’re expecting a huge drop in temperatures as we move through the weekend. On Friday, high temperatures will be in the mid and upper 60s under mostly sunny skies. It will be a bit busy through the day, with winds from the west between 10 and 15 mph.

This weekend, it will be significantly cooler, and, on top of that, we’re also expecting some rain. High temperatures will be in the mid 50s on Saturday. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds early. Then, later in the day, as an area of low pressure moves in from the southwest, the clouds will thicken and bring scattered showers our way late Saturday night. Rain will continue into Sunday as low pressure moves offshore. Highs on Sunday will drop into the upper 40s.  Some rain could linger into Monday with highs in the lower 50s. Dry weather moves in by Tuesday. Temperatures will warm up into the 70s by the end of the week.

Tonight: Moon and Stars.  A Few Clouds.  Low temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Winds: W 5-10 mph.

Friday: Mostly Sunny. A Little Cooler. High temperatures in the mid and upper 60s. Winds: W 10-15 mph.

Saturday: Partly to Mostly Cloudy. Chance of PM Rain (25%). High temperatures in the low to mid 50s. Winds: N 10-15 mph.
