Suffolk school bus involved in another accident

Suffolk, Va. – For the second time on Thursday, a Suffolk school bus was involved in an accident.

This accident occurred at 5:23 p.m. while students were being transported from King’s Fork High School.

Police say this happened in the 1200 block of B Street in the Beamon’s Mill neighborhood.

They say the bus driver backed up into a Chevrolet Malibu.

Both vehicles were damaged but were able to drive from the scene.

No one was injured, but the bus driver was charged with reckless driving.

About 40 students were on the bus at the time.

The first bus accident happened early in the morning.

Students were headed to John Yeates Middle School when the bus t-boned an SUV.

The SUV driver was charged in this case. No one was injured but police say several students were transported after complaints.
