The Old Dominion University ‘Marching Monarchs’ are coming home from Ireland with a big honor.
The marching band was awarded the ‘Best International Band’ at the Limerick International Band Championship Sunday in Dublin.
ODU, CNU marching bands participate in St. Patrick’s Day parade in Ireland
The band has been in Ireland for about a week taking part in various events, including their big St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Thursday.
ODU was one of just four American colleges invited to participate.
