Norfolk, Va. - A woman was arrested Tuesday night after detectives say she shot her boyfriend after an argument.
Shortly after 10:30 p.m. officers were called to a home in the 1100 block of East City Hall Avenue on a report of man who had been shot.
When police arrived, they found a 26-year-old man man inside of a home with a serious gunshot injury.
Paramedics took the victim to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He is expected to recover.
Shanna M. Brown, 31, was charged with one count of malicious wounding and one count of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
There is no word on what led up to the argument.
