Dog almost near death now doing better; in need of new home

Posted

It’s national puppy day, and there are four legged friends who are looking for new homes.

A dog was near death when he first arrived at the Norfolk Animal Care Center.

Now he is outside, playing with other dogs and ready for a new forever family.

When he first showed up, he was emaciated  and unable to stand up on his own.

He grew even worse after a few hours.

He was then taken to the emergency vet and put on life support.

SID was infested with parasites, his organs were shutting down and his body temperature was dropping.

After a few days, SID showed signs of hope.

He was able to eat again, learned things quickly, and started to interact well with the staff there.

This little “miracle” dog now needs a new home.
