Gloucester County, Va. – A woman was arrested during the execution of a search warrant during a heroin investigation at a home in Gloucester County on March 16th and a man wanted for the same investigation is still at-large
According to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office, the search warrant was executed along with assistance from the Tri-Rivers Drug Task Force during on ongoing investigation into the distribution of narcotics in the area.
During the search, investigators found cocaine, marijuana, Oxycontin pills, Alprazolam (Xanax) and assorted narcotics paraphernalia.
Investigators arrested 35-year-old Sarah D. Evans and charged her with Distribution of a Schedule I Substance (Heroin). She was later released on a $2,000 secured bond.
Thomas L. Crute, 55, is still at-large and wanted for the same charge, authorities say.
Additional criminal charges are likely.
