Norfolk, Va. - The assistant principal of Madison Alternative Center charged with taking indecent liberties with a child appeared in court Tuesday.
According to the prosecution, Gary Jordan pulled a 16-year-old student out of her class and took her into his office. He asked the girl inappropriate sexual questions including if she could pull her pants down. Jordan also told the girl that he could lock the door, according to what prosecutors told the judge.
When she said 'no', that's when prosecutors say Jordan gave the victim his personal cell phone number and said he could pick the victim up at the McDonald's near her house. The victim was scared and reported it to a teacher, adding Jordan must have used school records to get her address.
On Tuesday, the case against Jordan was certified to go to a grand jury.
Jordan was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
