Hampton, Va. – A rottweiler was euthanized after police say it bit a juvenile and another person back in February.

On February 2nd at around 3 p.m., public safety was notified about a canine that had bitten someone in the 100 block of Willis Church Yard in Hampton.

Animal Control says a juvenile and another person was bitten.

Officials say this was not the dog’s first time biting someone.

They say another incident happened back in 2014.

The dog was seized, transported, then quarantined at the Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter in Newport News.

The dog was put down before the court proceedings were resolved.
