Norfolk, Va. -  Wednesday marked the beginning of the case against Lincoln Military Housing.

Marine Gunnery Sgt Joe Federico is the first of 19 Hampton Roads military families to take the stand against the off-base facility.

In 2011, Newschannel 3 investigated claims by the family saying there was mold in their home and made family members sick.
