Newport News, Va. – A man was hospitalized with life threatening injuries after a shooting Thursday evening.
Police were called to the 700 block of Dresden Drive near the intersection of Kendall Drive shortly after 4 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a 33-year-old man who had been shot in the inside of his right thigh.
The man was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
The suspect was described as a black male wearing a grey sweater and camouflage shorts. He was last seen running on Kendall Drive.
