California police officer plays hopscotch with homeless girl

Posted

Huntington Beach, Calif. — A cop in California went to check out an alleged suspicious vehicle— but ended up making a young girl’s day, WPIX reports.

When Officer Pricer responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle in Huntington Beach, he found a homeless mom and her 11-year-old daughter living in the van.

While his partner was busy contacting the Homeless Task Force to help set up housing arrangements for them, Pricer was busy teaching the young girl how to play hopscotch.

In the video, the officer shows the girl the ropes before giving her a go.

When it’s her turn, she makes it through and is greeted with a big high-five at the end.

The video has been viewed more than 400,000 times since it was posted.
