Portsmouth, Va. – Police are investigating a Friday evening shooting that sent one person to the hospital.
Officers responded to the 4600 block of Greenwood Drive just after 9:31 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his torso.
He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police say the shooting happened on Greenwood Drive and the victim ran to the 4600 block after he was hit.
This investigation is still ongoing.
