Man wanted in Isle of Wight County arrested in Pennsylvania

Isle of Wight County, Va. – A man wanted on several outstanding felony warrants in Isle of Wight County was recently arrested in Pennsylvania.

William K. Schenck, 37, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshalls in Montgomery, Pennsylvania.

Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office investigators asked for the U.S. Marshall’s assistance after they discovered Schenck had left Virginia and was possibly living in the Philadelphia area. His last known address is in Newport News, Virginia.

Schenck is wanted on 10 outstanding felony warrants in Isle of Wight County.  The warrants are for burglary, credit card theft, credit card fraud and grand larceny.

Schenck has a long criminal record with past arrests for burglary, larceny and credit card fraud. Deputies discovered that Schenck had additional outstanding felony warrants in James City County and Henrico County. He also has an outstanding probation violation from the Newport News Office of Probation and Parole.

Schenck was processed on all outstanding warrants. He is being held at the Western Tidewater Regional jail without bond.
