Trooper’s wife sells t-shirts to help fallen Virginia State Trooper Chad Dermyer’s family

A funeral was held this week to honor the memory of Virginia State Trooper, Chad Dermyer, who was shot to death at a Richmond Greyhound bus station on March 31st.

Now trooper’s wife has stepped in to help the family during such a difficult time.

She is selling memorial t-shirts online to help raise funds for Michelle Dermyer and their two young children.

So far they’ve raised nearly $80, 000 and have sold 3,764 shirts. Their goal is set at 5,000 and they have 25 more days to go to reach it.

Since his death, donations have poured in from across the country. According to WTVR.com, state police say they’ve received about $55,922 in donations. They are donating 100% of it to the family.
