NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – A small child was flown to a Norfolk hospital with life threatening injuries after being struck by a car.
Dispatch received the call at 3:07 p.m. and medics responded to the 300 block of Sherwood Place.
Police say a two-year-old boy ran into the street from between two trucks and was hit by an Acura sedan.
The crash remains under investigation.
The driver remained at the scene.
