Tracking a lot of sun and warmer temps….Keep your sunglasses handy! We are tracking a lot of sunshine across Hampton Roads and Northeastern North Carolina, courtesy of an area of high pressure over the area. In fact, on Sunday, we’re expecting mostly sunny skies. High temperatures will be in the mid and upper 60s. Our winds will be fairly gusty at times during the morning and afternoon, but gradually, they will taper off tomorrow night.

On Monday, even more sunshine is in the forecast. High temperatures will be in the mid and upper 70s. On Tuesday, we’ll be in the 70s, too. But a cold front will move in from the north late Tuesday, giving way to highs in the 60s Wednesday and Thursday. Rain and storms move back in Friday.

Saturday Night: Clear and Cold. Breezy. Low temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Winds: NE 10-15 mph.

Sunday: Mostly Sunny and Mild. Windy. High temperatures in the mid and upper 60s. Winds: NE 15-20+ mph.

Monday: Mostly Sunny and Warm. Not as Windy. High temperatures in the mid and upper 70s. Winds: N-SE 5-10 mph.
