SUFFOLK, Va. – Lanes were closed on Route 58 as police investigate an accident involving an overturned tractor trailer Sunday morning that ended in milk being spilled onto the road.
The cause of the accident is under investigation but it happened around 9:15 a.m. in the 4300 block of Holland Road/Route 58.
The tractor trailer that overturned was hauling milk which spilled onto the roadway.
The driver of the tractor trailer sustained minor injuries.
Suffolk Public Works personnel responded to the scene to assist with traffic control and cleanup of the roadway.
All lanes on US-58 have reopened.
