PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Portsmouth Police are investigating a shooting that left two people injured on Wednesday night.
Officers arrived to the 1400 block of LaSalle Avenue to respond to a female gunshot victim at 8:43 p.m.
As officers responded to the incident on LaSalle Avenue, an adult male walked into Fire Station 1 in the 1400 block of Effingham Street with a gunshot wound at 8:47 p.m.
Both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation revealed that the man was shot on LaSalle Avenue where the female victim was located.
Detectives do not have any information on a suspect or a motive at this time.
