NORFOLK, Va. – A 2005 graduate of The Governor’s School for the Arts has been nominated for a Tony Award!
Adrienne Warren was nominated for ‘Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical’ for her performance in Shuffle Along, or, the Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed.
Adrienne is the daughter of GSA’s Executive Director, Dr. Andrea Warren.
She attended Western Branch High School in Chesapeake and was also a part of the Hurrah Players.
Adrienne’s nomination is the first Tony Award nomination for a Governor’s School for the Arts graduate.
