Out of 23 community colleges in Virginia, TCC is ranked number one by national education website, School.com.
The website praised TCC’s dedication to accessibility and commitment to military-related students.
School.com also mentioned TCC’s Center for Military and Veterans Education, saying “it works to assist veterans, active duty military and families with the finer points of college life and post-service career transitions.”
The study conducted by the website analyzed data from the U.S. Department of Education and Virginia Community Colleges, including cost of attendance, student-to-faculty ratio, average retention rate for full- and part-time students, transfer rate to a senior institution, enrollment rate in distance education and graduation rate.
Northern Virginia Community College ranked second and Thomas Nelson came in third.
