Three juveniles taken into custody after three people injured in two separate Norfolk shootings

NORFOLK, Va. - Police are investigating two shootings Saturday night that left three people injured.

First shooting:

According to emergency dispatchers, the first shooting was reported at 10:03 p.m. at Graydon Ave. and Colley Ave.

When police arrived they a found 32-year old man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Police say, two men approached the 32-year old man with guns and demanded money.

The suspects fled the area before police arrived.

The victim was taken to Sentara Norfolk General to be treated.

Second Shooting: 

The second shooting happened only 40 minutes later in the 800 block of Freemont Street.

When police arrived they found two people, a teenager and a man suffering gunshot wounds that were non-life threatening.

Three juveniles were taken into custody for the double shooting, and charges are currently pending.

According to dispatchers, it happened at 10:41 p.m. in the 800 block of Freemont Ave.

The two victims were transported to Sentara Norfolk General for treatment.
